I used this activity to finish a unit on probability. It reinforced the probability learning but introduced the science concept of genetics in a very simple way. All my students live on farms so this lead to great conversations around genetics and how traits are passed on in sheep and cows.
I used this activity to finish up our probability section during distance learning. It was nice that it also tied into some of our science topics from earlier in the year.
