In support of those displaced by the Northern California Fires
On Monday morning when I stepped outside for my run, the air smelled like smoke and it was unusually warm for 5am. I googled smoke smell in the Bay Area and discovered that 10 fires had already burned 20,000 acres in Napa and Sonoma counties, about an hour and a half north of where I live. Since Monday more than 150,000 acres have burned, 2000 homes have fallen, 17 lives have been lost and 500 people are missing. Additionally, more than 20,000 people have been displaced. Schools closed for the week. It will take years to rebuild from the devastation. My heart goes out not only to my friends who live there but also every child and family affected by the fires.

I didn't want to do nothing, so I reached out to my TPT seller colleagues. We have organized a way to both give and give a little something back to you. Here's how it works:

- When: Sunday October 15 - Monday October 16
- What: Search for resources tagged #helpnorcal
- To do: Buy one or more of the resources with the #helpnorcal hashtag
- Why: Sellers have agreed to donate all sales proceeds from #helpnorcal to the the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund or to one of the California Fire Relief GoFundMe campaigns.
