Social Sundays: Is it summer yet?
Some years I am not ready for the end of the year, but this year I am counting down (just 4 days to go!) It has been a fantastic and exhausting year. And while I will miss my students and their amazing energy, I am ready for the break. As such, this will be the last Social Sunday post before the Summer break.
I thought quite a bit about what to include.
I could share some of my favorite end of year activities but there are already several posts you can read for ideas. I could tell you about my summer plans which include reading (Rules of Civility by Amor Towles and Even More Terrible Tudors in the Horrible Histories series are on my list), writing on my book, lots of running and travel, of course. There isn't really anything original or interesting about my summer plans. And I am sure somewhere deep down in me there are some words of wisdom, but I can't seem to find them on a year of too little sleep. So, I leave with you some of your own favorites in case you missed them (or just click on the Social Sundays tab to find all the history related posts):
And until August, I thank each and everyone who has stopped by to visit, comment, read and be part of the discussion. I wish all of you a wonderful and relaxing break!
Cheers,
DocRunning

- 1 Website every history teacher needs: This is the 1 website I will not teach history without.
- Current events: Ideas for integrating current events in your student-centered classroom.
- Tips for interactive notebooks: get ideas for the logistics of using interactive notebooks from a group of veteran teachers.
- Gallery Walks: gather 5 best practices for using gallery walks.
And until August, I thank each and everyone who has stopped by to visit, comment, read and be part of the discussion. I wish all of you a wonderful and relaxing break!
