Found in Education: Reports on Charters, Bridge Riddle, and A little Inspiration

This week I found this in education:

The Tampa Bay Times reports that Florida has funded 308 charter schools that have since closed.  Furthermore, one in eight charter schools are in danger.  All of this raises the question, what are we doing with our resources?  Opening and closing charter schools is expensive.  More importantly, it is disruptive to students to be moved in and out of schools and used as lab rats in these school experiments.  Something to think about...

Next, I love riddles and puzzles.  I stumbled upon this classic bridge problem with a twist: no trolls, just mutant zombies.
