Math Mondays: Summer enrichment and Preview

It's time for the Math Mondays' summer hiatus.  Before I go, I will leave you with some of my favorite summer ideas for myself or for summer math enrichment and share a preview of next year's Math Mondays.  For end of year ideas, click here for a full list of posts on end of the year activities and tricks. 




Summer Days: This summer I will polishing off some new curriculum for next year including new graffiti for 7th-12th grade math topics, AP Calculus and wrapping up the Pre-Calculus curriculum as well as taking many long days to play.  The summer is precious.  I can't wait to read some new books (The President's Hat is on my nightstand at the moment) and to travel.  For a little inspiration for your own summer, check out some of my favorite math books, best reads, and ideas for math enrichment for your students including:

Preview of Social Sundays 2018-2019:  Many of you participated in the Thank You giveaway a couple of weeks ago and generously told me what you would value reading about.  With your comments in mind, next year's Math Mondays will largely feature ideas for teaching specific topics and units as well as ideas that can be used across topics.
